The Department of Collegiate Education invites ONLINE applications from eligible
candidates for selection of Guest Faculty on ad-hoc basis for Government First
Grade Colleges in Karnataka. The candidates should register through ONLINE
indicating their choice of colleges and by furnishing information as per online
format. Selection of candidates will be done based on Marks/ Weightage.
Two methods of Form Renewal:
   1. Select radio button against "Application ID" and use Application ID provided
       to retreive Application.
   2. Select radio button against "Date of Birth", Select your 10th Board of Study,
       enter Register/ Roll No. and then enter Date of Birth in dd/mm/yyyy form to 
       retreive Applicatio.
       (Example. 02/05/1980 for 2nd May 1980).

   A candidate can REGISTER only once
   Fresh candidates who have not applied  can submit Application using New Application link
   Candidate who had applied during 2016-17 or Before can renew their application with latest information using Form  Renewal link
   Guest faculty who have re-joined for 2016-17 or Before can also use form renewal link to join different college
   Submitted are renewed applications for 2016-17 or Before can be edited for making changes using Edit Link submitted for link.
   Duplication in registration in resulting in rejection of application.
   Marked *fields are mandatory .
   The computer should be online (connected to internet) during the registration. Entering data off line is not possible.
   Enough time should be given (up to second) before some of the fields became active and available for data entry/selection.
   After filling of the format and ensuring proper entry of the data, candidate has to enter the security code (CAPTCHA character) as displayed
         in the box.
   Candidate can submit the application by clicking the ‘Submit’ button.
   After successful submission, system will generate and display Application ID Through SMS and Email.
General Instructions to Candidates:
   Selection of Candidates is purely on ad-hoc basis.
   All the original certificates must be produced at the time of Reporting in the
      college of choice.
   The candidates selected as Guest Faculty should carry out specified hours
      of teaching assignment.
   The candidate is allowed to work only in one Government First Grade
   The academic assignment is only till the end of term days and as per 
      calendar of events of the respective University or till the workload exists.
   Applications have to be submitted ONLINE only and applications in any
      other form/ mode will not be accepted.
   Number of Guest Faculty positions in Government First Grade Colleges,
      as per 2016-17 workload, is put-up on the website for reference only. The
      actual number of Guest Faculty positions may vary. Subjec-wise availability
      for the academic year 2017-18, in each college may be obtained from the
      respective colleges.
